Stating the obvious would be that many celebrities have appeared as guest-stars in Beavis and Butthead. But I am not here to do that, just like I wouldn’t want (now) to list all those that had a cameo in this controversial series.
However, I will list some of the biggest celebrities that have appeared in the show (and the film) Beavis and Butthead.
The first one would be Bill Clinton, who was voiced by Dale Reeves, in the episode Citizen Butthead (episode 12, season 3). In this episode, the president gives a speech at the Youth: The Next Generation meeting. All that Beavis and Butthead see is that he is fat – nonetheless, Bill Clinton decides to make Beavis and Bum-Head America’s students of the year.
Bill Clinton (voiced by the same Dale Reeves) returned for Beavis and Butthead Do America and made the duo honorary AFT agents.
Of course, I cannot mention Bill without mentioning Chelsea, who was a guest star in Beavis and Butthead Do America. While wondering through the White House (something that everybody can do nowadays, apparently), the duo sees the first-daughter. Butthead tries to woo her (saying that he too has braces) – the obvious happens and they both are thrown out the window.
One weird musical act was when Beavis and Butthead met Cher, by using a virtual reality simulator. Included in the 1993 The Beavis and Butthead Experience, this guest star appearance puts on quite the psychedelic show.
Since I mentioned Cher, I couldn’t go on without mentioning the Red Hot Chili Peppers, who appear in the animated soundtrack for Beavis and Butthead Do America. The duo backs the band with a kazoo, thus answering us what a RHCP Saturday morning cartoon would actually look like.
Moving on, David Letterman is hinted as the father of Butthead (which actually makes a little sense) in the film. David Letterman is a well-known fan of the show, having Beavis and Butthead guest starring on his late-night show, allowing them on several occasions to read the Top Ten lists.
Lastly, and possibly the best guest star, is the one made by one of the hottest couples of America – well, back in those days at least. A blonde Demi Moore and a very hairy Bruce Willis confound Beavis and Butthead, thus involving them in an over the top plot. The funniest thing ever said by this couple comes when Bruce Willis thinks that these two are assassins and asks them to do his wife.
